1:4 LVPECL Clock Fanout Buffer

Tokyo, Japan, Dec 1, 2011—Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation (AKM), a leading supplier of mixed-signal ICs, today launched the AK8181A that is a member of AKM's LVPECL clock fanout buffer family designed for computing and communication field. It consists of pin-selectable two LVTTL/LVCMOS inputs and 4 LVPECL output buffers. The AK8181A is fabricated in AKM’s CMOS process, achieving high performance characteristics and lower cost.

The AK8181A operates up to 266MHz. Synchronizing clock output system allows the output signal to start and low only in a logic low state. The outputs are set to high-impedance state when disabled. The part operates at 3.3V. The AK8181A is fully compatible with ICS8535-01.

The AK8181A is packaged in 20pin TSSOP. Evaluation boards and samples are available now. To obtain more information, contact Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation, Special Analog, 1-105 Kanda Jinbocho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 101-8101, Japan or visit our web site “www.akm.com”.
