Water barrier
With its low permeability to water vapor, Suntec™ S minimizes weight loss due to evaporation, largely eliminating the need for weight-loss compensation in packing and thus reducing costs.
It prevents drying and discoloration, and maintains freshness longer, in fresh and pickled vegetables, boiled or steamed foods, and other food products.

Weight retention trial ; Tray-packed pickled vegetables at 25°C 55% RH

Procedure

Pickled vegetables (100 g net)
packed on trays and wrapped with Suntec™ S, PVC stretch, and PVC shrink films, and weighed each day to determine weight loss.


Example (10 Days after Wrapping at 15°C 50%R.H.)
