Bemberg is produced from linter - the short, downy fiber that enfolds and protects the cotton seed. It is reborn as 100% pure regenerated cellulose fibers which, unlike natural fibers, are almost perfectly round and free from surface and structural irregularity.
With a multiporous surface that is inherently free from the skin layer found in cotton, viscose, and many other fibers, the Bemberg fiber is naturally silken in smoothness, luster, and color development, and in its moisture absorption and release.
The result is smooth, fresh, free comfort, creativity, and elegance in a fiber that, like the cotton linter from which it originates, is biodegradable, and gentle on the environment.
