the interior temperature, as its fast, high volume absorption and
release of moisture effectively carry heat away from the body.
The effect is shown in these Thermo Vision photographs: the red and
yellow areas indicate large heat release to the outside and a corresponding
moderation of the temperature inside the garment; the blue areas indicate
low heat release to the outside, and thus a higher interior temperature.
