Features of Bemberg lining

Introducing functionality : Smoothness

Smoothness supporting a light and comfortable feel

〈Friction coefficient for different materials and linings (taffeta) 〉

Bemberg has lower friction coefficient against both shirt material (cotton, polyester) and outer material (wool).  The arms pass smoothly through the jacket and coat sleeves, and when worn, the garments do not constrain the motion of the body, but provide a sense of comfort.

〈Sound comparison for linings〉

The rustling sound of the lining is one of the irritants when wearing jackets, skirts and dresses.  Since the friction coefficient between a Bemberg lining and other fabrics is low, the rustling sound that accompanies movements is not a concern.

Loudness measured when combinations of outer fabric (wool) with different types of linings (taffeta) are worn while moving inside an anechoic room for 30 seconds. (dB)

〈Bemberg™ lining feels gentle even when it touches the skin〉

In addition to the smooth feel, one of the special features of the Bemberg lining is that it does not irritate the skin because It is a regenerated cellulose fiber derived from cotton linter.
Bemberg lining feels pleasant and refreshing on the skin in the summer season when there are many opportunities to wear short-sleeved tops or tank tops.
