Cupro Comfort - Minimal Static Charge

Anti-static characteristics of Bemberg™ linings

Bemberg™ linings, with their moisture content maintained in the cupro fiber by its high moisture regain, provide minimal generation and rapid dissipation of electrostatic charge.

Friction-induced static charge

*After 60 sec of rubbing with cotton cloth at 20℃ 40%RH, following three machine washings of liner sample.

Cupro-wool anti-static compatibility

Static charge in wool face fabric and taffeta lining

The cupro liner not only resists internal static charge buildup, but also suppresses its buildup in the wool face fabric. Cupro thus prevents internal liner clinging, while reducing external dust and pollen adhesion on the woolen face fabric.

*Under mutualrubbing at 20℃ 40%RH.C, cupro; W, wool; RP, polyester.
Dust deposit on wool due to static charge; wool fabric held 1cm above dust surface, after rubbing with indicated liner.

Charge-free Cupro Performance
-With any Facing Fabric-

The Bemberg™ cupro liner provides minimal static charge generation and fast charge dissipation with various face fabrics, as shown by these tests in which cupro and fabric are rubbed together for 60 sec and then left standing at 20℃ 40%RH(JIS-L-1094 test method).
