Microza has been deployed at nuclear power plants where large volumes of purified recycled water is required with the iron particulates exposed to radiation removed.  Increasingly, Microza is also being used in fossil fuel power plants for purification of makeup and recycle discharge water.
Electricity - Indispensable for everyday life
A significant portion of the world's electrical power demand is met with nuclear power generation. Nuclear power is free of environmentally harmful, such as CO2, that inherently accompany fossil fuel power generation. However, radioactive material is generated which must be controlled and contained. At nuclear power plants, Microza UF and MF systems are used to separate radioactive iron crud from condensate water and for treatment of low-level radioactive wastewater. In fossil fuel power plants, Microza systems are also being used for purification of makeup water and for condensate water treatment.
