Used in air conditioner filters for buildings, trains, and buses. Flame retardant meets them to the level of UL standards. Available with a honeycomb structure as Saran™ Honeycomb, and with a mesh structure as Saran™ Screen. Six compounds (Pb , Hg ,Cd, CrⅥ, PBBs, PBDEs) listed in RoHS(Restriction of Hazardous Substances) are not contained in Saran™ fiber.

SaranLock™ is a non-woven with 3-dimensional bulk produced by binding spiral-shaped Saran™ fibers with PVDC latex. Low resistance to air passage, high filtration efficiency, and a large dust collecting capacity make it an exceptional filter medium. Used in filters for both gases and liquids in a wide range of applications including fish farming and civil engineering

Saran™ fiber makes excellent filter cloth, with outstanding resistance to chemicals, high filtration speed, and good filter cake release. Being nearly impervious to mold or microbial attack, it makes an exceptionally durable, long-lasting filter medium.
