On September 15, 2023, Asahi Kasei Fibers Italia participated in an online ceremony organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to provide personal protective equipment to women dyers involved in the traditional textile dyeing industry in the Republic of Mali. This ceremony followed a workshop held in May, which aimed to support women dyers in Mali and promote sustainable practices within the traditional dyeing sector. We will continue to collaborate with UNDP, the Embassy of Japan in Mali, and Brunello to enhance the quality of life for women dyers in Mali and encourage more sustainable practices throughout the traditional dyeing industry.
