Liturgical Vestments Made from the Fabric Using Bemberg™ (Fiber) Presented in Rome
On May 23–24, 2025, a new collection of liturgical vestments made from the fabric using Bemberg™ (fiber) was presented at the Centro Apostolato Liturgico in Rome.
The exhibition marked the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis' environmental encyclical Laudato Si’.
Titled “POPOLO IN CAMMINO – Pilgrims of Hope”, the collection was created by the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master, featuring chasubles, dalmatics, and copes crafted with specially designed fabrics using(or made from) Bemberg™ fiber.
Members of Asahi Kasei Fibers Italia were also present at the event to support the presentation.
The collection will be featured in window displays at liturgical stores across Italy for the next three months.

Laudato Si’ is an encyclical published in 2015 by Pope Francis. Inspired by Saint Francis of Assisi’s hymn, it calls for a new approach to environmental and social responsibility in caring for “our common home.”
