What conditions are necessary for designing a membrane filtration system?

Data on the kind, amount, and quality of the raw water and a draft of the system structure are necessary. Water quality includes minimum water temperature, turbidity, and contents of organic substances (COD and TOC) and inorganic substances such as iron and manganese. After deciding the assumed life of the membrane and whether a standby system is needed or not, we will be able to propose a system.

How long does the membrane last?

For water purification purposes, we have operation records of 10 to 15 years, although the value varies depending on the kind of raw water and actual operation states. We can design and propose a system that most answers your request on membrane service life (although the feasibility varies depending on conditions).
