Wear resistant special synthetic rubber roller (AH rubber roller)

  • In areas that require wear resistance, urethane rubber is frequently used.
However, because of its poor heat resistance and water resistance, urethane rubber has disadvantages, such as softening deterioration, reduced adhesion force with metals at a high temperature, and exothermic fusion at a high rotational speed.
Our AH rubber products resolve these disadvantages of urethane rubber.
  • (Asahi High Performance Rubber) has approximately the same wear resistance as urethane, and excellent heat resistance, water resistance, and oil resistance, and is excellent at maintaining adhesion power with metals.
Especially, the edge wear resistance of our product is better than that of urethane and experiences no fusion at a high rotational speed.
As just described, our products are a new type of synthetic rubber which demonstrates its abilities under severe conditions.
As an epoch-making invention as a synthetic rubber, AH rubbers makes a diverse range of colors possible, and find a wider range of applications, such as interior applications.

Features

  • -The same wear resistance as that of urethane rubber. Excellent heat resistance, oil resistance, and water resistance.
  • -No heat generation and fusion at a high rotational speed
  • -Excellent adhesion power with metals at a high temperature.
  • -Excellent chromogenic property which makes a diverse range of colors possible.
  • -You can choose a suitable one from our various grades.

Evaluation results of heat aging resistance

  • -Comparison of the frequency of generation of strand drops by pelletizer take-off rollers (our test values)
  • In urethane roll specimens, many strand drops were observed after 1 month of use.
  • In AH-M (general purpose) specimens, strand drops started to be observed after about 4 months of use.
  • In AH-T (heat resistance) specimens, no strand drops were observed even after 10 months of use.
