High purity

BEMCOT is completely free of additives, oil solution or binding agents.
Since it generates very little extractable impurities, it reduces the amount of impurities transferred to the object to be wiped.

Residue on wafer test

BEMCOT’s trait of transferring very few impurities to the object to be wiped can be confirmed.

A quantity of 0.1 ml of water is dropped on the silicon wafer and residue on the wafer is measured after it is wiped off with fixed load.

The surface acting agent added during the manufacturing of sheets sometimes eluted from a staple fiber nonwoven wiper and low-molecular substance(oligomer)is eluted from polyester, which is a material of general knit wipes, when organic solvent is used(Especially acetone).

Sulfur content test

Staple-fiber nonwoven wiper is mainly made from rayon and rayon contains abundant sulfur, which sometimes causes corrosion of metal.

A copperplate is placed on a Petri dish together with a wiper and left to stand for approximately 100 hours at 70℃ and 90%RH to observe the condition of the copperplate surface.
