Asahi Kasei Pharma has developed over 100 proteins including enzymes for in vitro diagnostic reagents and supplied them to customers worldwide. Our proprietary protein expression technology platform, "Smart Cell Technology", has made our one and only development possible. The combination of E. coli, yeasts and our modified and constructed microbial hosts combined with our vector library consisting of a variety of promoters enables the high expression of difficult-to-express proteins in recombinant form.
