• Levels of total cholesterol (TC), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) are test markers for disorders such as dyslipidemia.
• Cholesterol levels are assayed using the enzymatic method.
• We supply cholesterol esterase and cholesterol oxidase for the cholesterol levels measurement. Our products include two types of cholesterol esterase (CENⅡ and CEBPⅡ) with different properties, which may be used as appropriate depending on the target of the assay (TC, HDL-C, or LDL-C) and/or the formulation.
• With a highly hydrophobic enzyme such as cholesterol esterase, it is important to select appropriate addtives.
We have data on the surfactants and salts that increase the activities and stabilities of CENⅡ and CEBPⅡ, which may facilitate the acceleration of your product development.
