Module Structure

Module Structure

Highly reliable membrane structure

Asahi Kasei's unique double skin membrane structure provides ultrafiltration function to both inner and outer membrane surfaces.
This double skin structure also excels in mechanical strength and has very reliable performance.

Product characteristics

Crossflow method

Crossflow controls the accumulation of foulant on the membrane surface and maintains high permeability.

Capable of backwashing

There are skin layers on both the inner and outer surfaces, making the membrane highly resistant to compression and insusceptible to breakage. Using the characteristic, the membrane can be backwashed.

Clogging-less structure

Less susceptible to membrane clogging There are products with hollow fibers of larger inner diameter, which are less susceptible to membrane clogging by sludge.

High stability against chemicals

The membrane can be washed with an oxidizing agent, etc., and used over a wide pH range.

Simple module structure

Our simple module with a few parts is free of structural trouble. This structure and manufacturing method achieve minimum dead space in the module and assure highly stable filtration quality.
