Asahi Kasei's DELPET™ Light Diffusion series is a methacrylic resin that achieves both light transmittance and diffusion. It provides smooth light emission without a visible light source, for uses such as vehicle lamps and lighting.

The DELPET™ Light Diffusion series combines PMMA with light diffusion fillers, which can reduce the visibility of the light source and improve anti-glare properties.

While ordinary PMMA allows the light source behind it to pass through directly, the DELPET™ Light Diffusion series hides the light source by diffusing the light, and with its high light transmittance, it can achieve bright and beautiful lighting.

The Light Diffusion series also comes in red, and lighting that was previously achieved by combining milky white and red general PMMA can now be achieved with just one part (red light diffusion).
