Supporting Your Success with a Wide Range of Products
Asahi Kasei has developed a wide range of SEBS products, including TUFTEC™ and S.O.E.™, based on our unique technologies. Each product has unique characteristics, has been used in various industries and applications.
H Series: Widely Used as a Modifier and a Compatibilizer
TUFTEC™ H series is a fully hydrogenated styrene block copolymer product. It has excellent compatibility with styrene-based resins and olefin-based resins, making it suitable for use as a modifier to impart impact resistance and flexibility to resins or as a compatibilizer to mix different resins.
TUFTEC™ H series has a proven track record in various industries such as automotive, medical, food & lifestyle.
M Series: Utilizes Unique Modification Technology for Special Properties
TUFTEC™ M series is a SEBS product that has been modified with Asahi Kasei's unique modification technology to provide special performance. It has high affinity with various polar resins and is used as a modifier and compatibilizer for engineering plastics. It also exhibits excellent adhesion to various polar materials, including metals.
TUFTEC™ M series is used in a wide range of fields, including the automotive industry.
P Series: Achieving Excellent Crosslinking Properties through Selective Hydrogenation Technology
TUFTEC™ P series is developed through Asahi Kasei's unique selective hydrogenation technology. Selective hydrogenation results in a variety of properties that are superior to conventional SEBS, including crosslinking properties, low-temperature performance, and processability.
In particular, these performance characteristics make TUFTEC™ P series widely adopted in products that require superior functionality, such as running shoes and electronic materials.
S.O.E.™: Achieving Excellent Wear Resistance and Shock Absorption
S.O.E.™ has a glass transition temperature near room temperature, allowing it to exhibit unique properties such as vibration damping, shock absorption, and wear resistance.
S.O.E.™ is adopted in various applications such as footwear, automotive interiors, and medical tubes.
