① Lightweight
Expanded polyethylene MEF™ is lightweight.
MEF™ x30 (Density: 0.034g/cm3) is approximately half weight of Urethane foam (Density: 0.068g/cm3)

② Low wear and tear
Tensile Strength 3.0kgf/cm2 (x30 molding product, Test Method, JIS K6767)
Tensile Elongation 35% (x30 molding product, Test Method, JIS K6767). Compared with other foam products, MEF™ is resistant to cracking and chipping.

③ Excellent compressive recovery performance
MEF™ has excellent compressive recovery performance, 12% compression set (x30 Molding product, Test Method, JIS K6767), hence it is great for repeat use.

④ Excellent wear-resistant property
MEF™ has excellent wear-resistant property and thus finished goods can be packed in direct contact with MEF™, eliminating the need for a secondary packaging material such as PE plastics bags.
