In profile extrusion moulding, it is not uncommon to be required to use multiple colors and types of resins. Many of them may be troubled with materials that burn or scorch easily. Asaclean™, a cleaning agent specially designed for plastic moulding machines, can maximize the efficiency of material and coulor changeovers and contamination removal.

Widely adopted in profile extrusion

Profile extrusion involves a wide variety of types of molding, such as the molding of hoses and tubes, the manufacture of extruded colored pipes for industrial applications, and coated wires for electrical applications. With so much variety in their products, they often have to use various colours and resins.

Asaclean™ offers the best grades for profile extrusion molding that can work under diverse conditions. For example, when changeovers between different resins, such as PP, PVC, PBT, PE, or changing colours, the previous resin can be removed quickly, significantly reducing the costs involved in the changeovers.

You can use Asaclean™'s high cleaning power to remove stains that have developed, such as contamination after molding PVC and other resins that burn easily. In addition, we offer a grade that makes screw pulls to remove stubborn stains remarkably easy.

We switched to Asaclean™ about 3-4 years ago. The extruder cleaning time has been cut in half, nd we no longer have to use a wire brush after using the purging compound.
