Screw pull

You cannot remove contamination with purging compound alone may accumulate on the screw of moulding machines. This contamination may require disassembly for thorough cleaning, but pulling the screw from the cylinder and cleaning it can take as long as half a day to a day, and the cost, including lost opportunities during this time, can be very high. By using Asaclean™, you can considerably reduce not only can the load during screw pull but also dirt from the cylinder and screw at the same time. This reduction reduces maintenance time and costs and considerably improves production efficiency.

Asaclean™ is designed to be compatible with various resins using polymer properties and our resin compatibilizer technology. As a result, the load of screw pull stuck with old resins is considerably reduced, and you can pull screws out with surprising ease.

Furthermore, Asaclean™ has low metal adhesion, so you can easily peel off Asaclean™ adhering to screws.

Everyone experienced the difficulty of screw pull in the plastic moulds, which means that they incurred opportunity loss at many sites for the amount of time spent teardown. With Asaclean™, you can considerably reduce opportunity loss caused by teardown.

In our customer's case, it used to take four hours to teardown, but they can now complete it in one hour. If you use 20 moulding machines per factory and perform teardown once a year, you can reduce the opportunity loss of 80 hours per year to 20 hours.
