PF Grade

Asaclean™ PF Grade for engineering and super engineering plastics used in the high-temperature range is 280-420℃. PF Grade does not contain glass fibre.

PF Grade

Ideal for cleaning non-reinforced super engineering plastics

Asaclean™ PF Grade is for engineering and super engineering plastics used in the high-temperature range of 280-420℃ and does not contain glass fibre. This product boasts excellent thermal stability, efficiently cleaning in-machine sealing and hot runner during shutdowns while minimizing smoke generation even at high temperatures.

Benefits

You can make colour and material changeovers by purging without screw pull with 280-420℃ high-temperature resin, thus improving production efficiency.

Cleans hot runner contamination caused by moulding of super engineering plastics and suppresses contamination generation after material changeovers.

Temperature range

280 - 420℃

Types of resin

Engineering plastics: PC (polycarbonate), PA66-GF (glass fibre reinforced nylon 66), PPE-GF (glass fibre reinforced polyphenylene ether), PA66 (nylon 66), PA6T,9T (polyamide 6T,9T), Hi heat PC (high heat resistant polycarbonate)

Super engineering plastics: PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), PEEK (polyetheretherketone), PEI (polyetherimide), FEP (fluoroethylene propylene), PFA (perfluoro alkoxy alkane), LCP (liquid crystal polymer), PES ( Polyethersulfone), PA46 (polyamide 46), PSU (polysulfone), PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), ETFE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer)

Types of machine

Injection moulding (including cylinder and hot runner)

Extrusion (including cylinder and die)

Applications

Properties

Minimum clearance 0.5 mm for hot runner gates & extrusion dies; for extrusion screen packs, nothing finer than 100-mesh screen packs may be used.
Conditions to avoid Do not exceed the recommended temperature range. Do not allow Asaclean™ newUP Grade to reside in barrel for more than 30 minutes at temperatures higher than 370℃. Read SDS carefully and thoroughly before using Asaclean™.
